Hypebeast guy or gal avert your eyes now. Sure they're on the pricey side but you'll have them for life and their style is timeless. These are some of the sexiest shoes that you've never heard of. Our friends at SimpleThreads.co recently introduced us to this fine American classic. Hand crafted in Maine, New England Outerwear Co. creates some of the most comfortable and classically fashioned kicks that I have had the luxury of wearing. Best of all it's a product made in the USA.

Not too long ago JimmyCASE was kind enough to send me a SlimJIMMY wallet and this wallet
hasn’t left my side and has greatly reduced my Costanza wallet. It’s a great way to keep what you need with you without the bulk. Well, there is another product for those of you that don’t carry wallets but would rather hold everything in your phone. Let me introduce to you the jimmyCASE!
The jimmyCASE is made for iPhone variant and comes in various color schemes and you can even custom make your own. The iPhone case with card holder is a premium product with a high performance elastic pocket that never stretches. It can hold up to 6 cards and keeps your cash snug while giving your phone a unique look and purposeful use other than just making calls.
The company was kind enough to let me review and test this product. They sent over the iPhone 7+ Wallet case with a Mahogany wood finish and an elastic gray to blue color scheme. Since I have been using this product I have had everything I need at my finger tips and let’s not forget all the compliments. It fits snug on my iPhone and charging the phone hasn’t been an issue either, which is a plus. I don’t want to have to take the case off every time I want to charge my phone. It losses it purpose at that point.
What also caught my eyes about this jimmyCASE was the packaging on this product. If a company focuses on the aesthetics of the branding and products that goes a long way with the consumer. The case comes in a clear, vinyl pouch with a sticker on it. Doing so shows off the case. The sticker tells a little story too. On the front, you find the brands logo along with an American flag. Under the jimmyCASE logo are the words “Handmade in the USA.” Around back you will find the California state flag with the words “Hecho en Los Angeles.” So right off the bat you know you have a company that is not only proud to show off their product but wants you to know they are proud to have made it for you by hand in their hometown.
In conclusion, this jimmyCASE is a great product and the company takes the time to hand-make each case to make sure it is the best quality it can be. I also want to thank Jimmy Case for continuing to strive for great products. I look forward to seeing what else they come up with. Welcome to September 2016 Edition Review of Trendy Butler Subscription! This is now my fourth month so far. Please check below where I review each item that I received. Before I get into that let me tell you a little about Trendy Butler.
Trendy Butler is a subscription based company and for $65 a month you get clothing worth $150+ and you get designer style clothes with a huge discount every month. Here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items that you get to keep each month. Simple!
Let's Get Started on the Review:
In this month's bag I received two items. The first item was a pair of Kano Knit Denim Pant ($100) by Cohesive and Co. These pants were designed and constructed for the modern day hustler. It is made with 70% cotton, 28% polyester and 2% spandex and let me tell you. You can feel the polyester and the spandex feel in the pants. They only come in small, medium and large, which can cause them not to fit correctly. I'm all about getting pants and I do like this companies clothing, however these ones didn't hit the spot for me. To loose and the feel is a little off. It doesn't mean that they won't work for your style but for me I'm not sure it fits my modern day hustler feel.
The second item I received was a Civil Society: Men's Long Sleeve Woven Salmon Shirt. I actually really like this button down. The color hits the spot for me and let me tell you guys you can wear a salmon color shirt. The button down also has a slick looking pocket on the front and a snap button at the bottom to give it a different look. This button down is a timeless piece for both casual and formal occasions, perfect for the modern man who craves a professional wardrobe. I'm not sure on the pricing but I would average it at about $65 to $80.
Hope you enjoyed this review and I wanted to give another shout out to Trendy Butler for their continued support and services on Upscale Geek.

Trendy Butler was nice enough to send me a free bag to review. Seeing how I enjoy fashion I was looking forward to receiving this bag and check out what they had to offer.
If you’re not familiar with Trendy Butler, here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items to keep each month.
So here we go with the review:
In my bag I received two items Civil Society MCBX-680 Gray Joggers and Stylo DNM Engineering TLS-007 Long Shirt. Both items came in a brown bag and was then wrapped nicely in a sleeve of brown paper. Sorry would have pictures of this but got to excited and well no pictures of that.So let's start off with the Civil Society MCBX-680 Joggers Gray. I have to say I'm a huge fan of joggers so I was excited to get another pair. They're also super comfortable and have the right enough tightness at the bottom to pull them up on the calves to give a short pant style look. Retail value of these were $70. You can check them out on Civil Society's website.
The second item in the bag was the Stylo DNM Engineering TLS-007 Long Shirt. While this shirt has some slick style to it. It is not in my style catalog of things I would wear. I'm not saying the color or the upper style of the shirt, but the bottom of the shirt gets me. I'm not a fan of the long oversized shirts and the zippers on the side are a little strange to me. I know it's becoming a style but it only works for those that are built or prefer loose fitting shirts at the bottom. This shirt retails at $60.00. You can check out Stylo's Clothing on their website.
So to wrap up this review of the Trendy Butler Bag. I have to say for the first try they did great. The whole outfit was on point but my personal preference was off with the shirt. You can exchange an item without hassle if you're unhappy with one of your items. So in all I give them an A+ for a men's subscription company.

The Classic Men's Razor redesign has been created by Dutch industrial designer Patrick Schuur. Since there is no product combining both beauty and comfort Patrick and his team decided to make it themselves. Inspired by the beauty of the early safety razor they designed the RZR – a shaving system stripped down to its bare essentials.
The RZR is made of titanium also known as surgical steel. With the strongest material available and no moving parts in the design you will get a lifelong warranty on the holder. Since the disposable premium quality blades are made of metal only they are simply separated in the waste cycle by a magnet and recycled. You don’t have to do anything and can still feel good about your eco-footprint.
The RZR comes with a lifetime warranty and is therefore a sustainable, long-term purchase. The price is set to $100 for the RZR and $1.70 for a RZR-blade. Head over to Kickstarter to view the project in full.

If you're someone who likes to ride your bike or jog to work, then these pants would be for you. Nature2X have come up with trousers made from a fabric that combines four kinds of fibre, so they can absorb sweat without becoming damp or smelly. Nature2X material used in the ‘No Sweat Pants’ is made from Tencel, polyester, cotton and spandex It means keep-fit enthusiasts who cycle or jog to work can get on with their day without having to change into office trousers.
They claim to combat bacteria from sweat, so can be worn around 15 times before they need washing – twice a month if worn daily. The trousers, which come in three styles for men, will be on sale online early next year for $150.00 a pair. Check out DU/ER performance kickstarter to check out the campaign and start backing today to get your "No Sweat Pants".
Wearing a belt fashionably is one of those limitless tests of fashion. Being able to coordinate correctly confirms you're a man who knows his fashion. A mismatch or other error shows that you still need to learn a few things about dressing well.
Fortunately, the basics of good belts aren’t hard to learn, and most are common sense. The rest is up to you.
Men’s Belt Basics: Belt Length
Dress belts should have a few inches of leather to the left of the buckle once it’s fastened. Enough to tuck under your first belt loop, or the loop on the belt if it has one, is a good rule of thumb.Store-bought dress belts are usually measured with a range of pant sizes. Pick your belts two or three sizes larger than your pants to get a good fit. If you wear a 34″ trouser waist, a belt labeled 36″-38″ will probably be in the right neighborhood. The easiest way to check is just to try the belt on in the store. Just remember that it’ll sit a bit tighter when it’s worn properly.
Men’s Belt Basics: Belt Buckles
The bigger your belt buckle the less formal it is. Dress belts typically have very small, flat belt buckles (and tend to be narrower belts themselves). Larger buckles with rounded shapes are common on more casual styles. Almost all dress belts will have either a gold-colored or silver-colored finish. When choosing the color make sure that they match your jewelry or it will look off, the only exception is if you have a wedding ring. The ring is understood to be a gesture independent of your personal style.
Men’s Belt Basics: Belt Colors
Leather should always match leather. That rule stays with you in dress and casual wear: brown leather shoes go with a brown leather belt, and black with black. Glossy belts should be paired with highly-polished shoes; matte shoes go with matte belts. If you’re wearing casual shoes that aren’t made of leather, you have more freedom to work with. Cloth shoes can be paired with cloth belts of a different color.
Men’s Belt Basics: Styles of Buckle
There are a few common ways of holding your pants up. Most belts fall into one of these styles:
- Buckles with a tongue: the belt slides through a loop of metal, and a metal tongue is slipped through a hole in the belt to pin it down.
- Buckles with a hook: a flat metal (or plastic) plate is attached by slipping a hook on the back of the buckle through the front of the belt.
- Buckles with a sliding latch: the belt slides through a metal latch, inside which a vertical peg presses the belt into place.
- Braided belts: use a basic tongue buckle, but the belt is made of a woven leather braid rather than a flat piece of leather with punched holes. The tongue can slip between any two strands.
Men’s Belt Basics: Belts and Jean Labels
Speaking of designer goods, some high-end jeans have a famous label right between two of the belt loops. You may be tempted to leave the belt off, so that the label can be displayed more prominently.
Please do not do this, unless you like dad jeans. Unbelted jeans, even expensive ones, make you look tacky. Choose a slim belt that lets part of the label show and leave it to other people to notice your fantastic style — or not. If they weren’t in the know you weren’t going to impress them anyway, right?
So know that you know the basics, get out there and find your perfect belts to match your style.
