Flaviar was kind enough to provide me with the tasting box that all new members get when they sign up for the service, from there on, you get to pick which ones you want to receive.
The first impress I got with this subscription company was the packaging and branding of their products. The little details go a long way with the subscribers to feel they've gotten their money's worth and let me tell you I think you do.
The Products: Quarterly curated tasting packs that contain 3 x 1.5 oz. vials of premium spirits from around the world. In this first box, I was provided with 3 different types of Scotch Whiskey: The Glenkinchie 12 year, Dalwhinnie 15 year and Lagavulin 16 year. Let me tell you I was a happy man when these came in!
In the box is your instructions on your tasting instructions as well as the descriptions and information about each curated spirits and trivia questions to test your knowledge with those that you share your curated tasting box with. I also got a few chuckles at reading them because that have a kind of smart ass feel to them, which I thought was great.
I'm not going to go into the thoughts of each of the Scotch Whiskey's due to I enjoyed them all and this is more of a review of the company. My verdict on this subscription is that this is a great idea for those that like having tasting parties or those that like to have spirits sent to their home to enjoy on their own time. Find out more information on Flaviar here and check out the video below.

Welcome to August 2016 Edition Review of Trendy Butler Subscription! This is now my third bag and again they just keep getting it right! Please check below where I review each item that I received. Before I get into that let me tell you a little about Trendy Butler.
Trendy Butler is a subscription based company and for $65 a month you get clothing worth $150+ and you get designer style clothes with a huge discount every month. Here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items that you get to keep each month. Simple!
So here we go with the review:
In this installment I received three items each with their own qualities and comfort. The first item I received was a pair of Blue Indigo Stretchy Shorts from J.A.C.H.S. Co. Made from peached stretch sateen fabric crafted in there classic Bleecker fit short. These shorts are so comfy and soft to the touch and fit perfect. It's hard sometimes to find that perfect fitting shorts. They are either to tight/loose or to long/short. These ones hit the spot and since Florida is heavy on the heat these will be getting some good use. They retail for $75 and are currently on sale on J.A.C.H.S Co. for $45.00. Highly recommend these shorts.
The second item I received was a Muralla Grey Short Sleeve Henley Shirt from Cohesive & Co. I'm becoming a big fan of this company and their clothes. A little on the expensive side, but you do get what you pay for with them. As I've said in my first review of Trendy Butler that I'm not a fan of the long big shirts, however this one is a huge exception. It goes great with the shorts and has the right length and fit to be a shirt I will wear a lot with other outfits. The going rate on this shirt is $88.
The last and final item I received was a pair of Atlas Purple and Grey Dress socks by Ministry of Supply. These socks rock! They're so form fitting and soft and you feel like the sock's are like a soft pair of slippers that hug your feet. These socks have a 4-way stretch Atlas fabric and are coffee-infused to control odor and also have wicking channels to control the moisture. These socks will run you about $15 a pair.
I also thought in this post that I would show the readers a little of how the outfit came together minus the socks. Hope you enjoyed this review and I wanted to give a nice shout out to Trendy Butler for their continued support and services on Upscale Geek.

Welcome to the July
Edition Review of Trendy Butler. This is my second bag and it was packed with some amazing GQ style clothes. Please see below about each item that was received. Before I get into that let me tell you a little about Trendy Butler.
Trendy Butler is a subscription based company and for $65 a month you get clothing worth $150+ and you get designer style clothes with a huge discount every month. Here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items to keep each month.
So here we go with the review:
The first item that I got in my bag was from Cohesive & Co and let me tell you these Chino Bono black pants are just the best. The quality on these fit the bill in design and comfort. The light grey and blue dots give it a nice touch, whether on the front pocket, back pockets and even on the inside of the pants. These are the type of pants that you can dress up or down and still look great. I do apologize but I wasn't able to find the retail value but from the quality I'm going to guess $125-$100. I would also check out their site due to they have a good collections of men's apparel.
The second item that I received was another Cohesive & Co, however this was from their Signature Collection. This Belmont Dark Blue style button down is super nice and fitted. The lowered collar and lined front pocket gives this shirt a more defined style. This is also another shirt that would look great dress up or with a nice part of jeans. If you put both the Chino pants and this shirt together, you will be stopped a lot and told how great you look. It happens, I promise! The retail value I couldn't find either. I would guess it would retail at $60 -80.
The third item was a bonus item by Hyden Yoo. This color blocked tee is both casual and refined. It's got a stretchy and heavy feeling to it, although it is very soft on your skin. This one is a dark grey with a light grey combo compared to the one on their site. The retail value on this shirt is $60. Check out Hyden Yoo on their website.
So to wrap up this review of the Trendy Butler Bag from July. I have to say for the second time they have been on point. This whole bag had a different style category from last month, however it was more dressed up and I can wear this more in different settings than last month.

Trendy Butler is a subscription based company and for $65 a month you get clothing worth $150+ and you get new stylish clothes with a huge discount every month.
Trendy Butler was nice enough to send me a free bag to review. Seeing how I enjoy fashion I was looking forward to receiving this bag and check out what they had to offer.
If you’re not familiar with Trendy Butler, here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items to keep each month.
So here we go with the review:
In my bag I received two items Civil Society MCBX-680 Gray Joggers and Stylo DNM Engineering TLS-007 Long Shirt. Both items came in a brown bag and was then wrapped nicely in a sleeve of brown paper. Sorry would have pictures of this but got to excited and well no pictures of that.So let's start off with the Civil Society MCBX-680 Joggers Gray. I have to say I'm a huge fan of joggers so I was excited to get another pair. They're also super comfortable and have the right enough tightness at the bottom to pull them up on the calves to give a short pant style look. Retail value of these were $70. You can check them out on Civil Society's website.
The second item in the bag was the Stylo DNM Engineering TLS-007 Long Shirt. While this shirt has some slick style to it. It is not in my style catalog of things I would wear. I'm not saying the color or the upper style of the shirt, but the bottom of the shirt gets me. I'm not a fan of the long oversized shirts and the zippers on the side are a little strange to me. I know it's becoming a style but it only works for those that are built or prefer loose fitting shirts at the bottom. This shirt retails at $60.00. You can check out Stylo's Clothing on their website.
So to wrap up this review of the Trendy Butler Bag. I have to say for the first try they did great. The whole outfit was on point but my personal preference was off with the shirt. You can exchange an item without hassle if you're unhappy with one of your items. So in all I give them an A+ for a men's subscription company.
