It is always a good idea to try out products before dropping hard earned money on skin care products that might not work with your skin. Ursa Major offers just that.  They're offering a Clean Healthy Skin Trail Kit  for $10, plus you will get another $10 off your next order.  You can't go wrong with that right? It comes with a two week supply of 4 different products. See image below.  Check out their site for more information.

Welcome to September 2016 Edition Review of Trendy Butler Subscription! This is now my fourth month so far. Please check below where I review each item that I received. Before I get into that let me tell you a little about Trendy Butler.

Trendy Butler is a subscription based company and for $65 a month you get clothing worth $150+ and you get designer style clothes with a huge discount every month. Here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items that you get to keep each month. Simple!

Let's Get Started on the Review:

In this month's bag I received two items. The first item was a pair of Kano Knit Denim Pant ($100) by Cohesive and Co.   These pants were designed and constructed for the modern day hustler. It is made with 70% cotton, 28% polyester and 2% spandex and let me tell you.  You can feel the polyester and the spandex feel in the pants. They only come in small, medium and large, which can cause them not to fit correctly.  I'm all about getting pants and I do like this companies clothing, however these ones didn't hit the spot for me.  To loose and the feel is a little off.  It doesn't mean that they won't work for your style but for me I'm not sure it fits my modern day hustler feel.

The second item I received was a Civil Society: Men's Long Sleeve Woven Salmon Shirt. I actually really like this button down. The color hits the spot for me and let me tell you guys you can wear a salmon color shirt. The button down also has a slick looking pocket on the front and a snap button at the bottom to give it a different look. This button down is a timeless piece for both casual and formal occasions, perfect for the modern man who craves a professional wardrobe. I'm not sure on the pricing but I would average it at about $65 to $80.

Hope you enjoyed this review and I wanted to give another shout out to Trendy Butler for their continued support and services on Upscale Geek

As a guy nothing feel more comfortable then a good pair of underwear that doesn't bunch or stretch, while at the same time holding our package comfortably. Mack Wheldon company understood this and created some great underwear for men.  There are different styles that they sell but I will stick to the boxer brief.  The 18 Hour Jersey ($24 a pair)  a great boxer brief is all about fit, fabric, and comfort. This one takes the cake. Mesh zones keep you cool, a no-roll waistband anchors things up top, and our stay-put leg design prevents riding up below.

Barracuda is a carry-on bag that is equipped with connectivity features as well as a clever collapsible structure. The bag includes a USB charger, GPS (for locating the bag), and an integrated laptop tray. While it looks like a typical hard-shell roller bag, it collapses flat for storage in just a few seconds. They're currently $349 but if you order you get $50 off, plus free shipping and a digital scale.

Welcome to August 2016 Edition Review of Trendy Butler Subscription! This is now my third bag and again they just keep getting it right!

Simple!

So here we go with the review:

In this installment I received three items each with their own qualities and comfort. The first item I received was a pair of Blue Indigo Stretchy Shorts from J.A.C.H.S. Co.   Made from peached stretch sateen fabric crafted in there classic Bleecker fit short. These shorts are so comfy and soft to the touch and fit perfect. It's hard sometimes to find that perfect fitting shorts.  They are either to tight/loose or to long/short.  These ones hit the spot and since Florida is heavy on the heat these will be getting some good use.  They retail for $75 and are currently on sale on J.A.C.H.S Co. for $45.00. Highly recommend these shorts.

The second item I received was a Muralla Grey Short Sleeve Henley Shirt from Cohesive & Co. I'm becoming a big fan of this company and their clothes.  A little on the expensive side, but you do get what you pay for with them. As I've said in my first review of Trendy Butler that I'm not a fan of the long big shirts, however this one is a huge exception.  It goes great with the shorts and has the right length and fit to be a shirt I will wear a lot with other outfits. The going rate on this shirt is $88.

The last and final item I received was a pair of Atlas Purple and Grey Dress socks by Ministry of Supply.  These socks rock!  They're so form fitting and soft and you feel like the sock's are like a soft pair of slippers that hug your feet. These socks have a 4-way stretch Atlas fabric and are coffee-infused to control odor and also have wicking channels to control the moisture. These socks will run you about $15 a pair.

I also thought in this post that I would show the readers a little of how the outfit came together minus the socks. Hope you enjoyed this review and I wanted to give a nice shout out to Trendy Butler for their continued support and services on Upscale Geek

What an elegant and vintage style watch to get the attention a watch deserves. With a squarish design and offset lugs, the Xeric Soloscope Watch ($600) easily stands out from the rest of the mechanical timepieces out there. It's powered by an automatic movement, using twin balance wheels that move both the outer and inner rings and combines with a single hand to show both the hours and minutes. The crown is hidden underneath the watch to maintain a clean design, the Horween leather straps attach via a quick-release mechanism, and each watch is hand-assembled.

You can check out more about this watch at IndieGOGO and see the different styles/colors available and back this project.  Happy watch hunting!

Ever buy a new pair of shoes and then a week or months later they're not looking so new? Well have you tried Trinova Shoe Revival ($19.97), with this you can get them back to their original shine. Trinova works on cloth, leather, vinyl, fabric, cotton, and more. You can use it to clean up sneakers, boots, or your favorite pair of Chuck's. An 8 oz. bottle will clean up to 100 pairs of shoes, and comes with a brush to help get gunk and dirt out of all the tough to clean spots on your soon-to-be revived kicks. You should also check out there other products.

Welcome to the July Edition Review of Trendy Butler. This is my second bag and it was packed with some amazing GQ style clothes.  Please see below about each item that was received. Before I get into that let me tell you a little about Trendy Butler.

Trendy Butler is a subscription based company and for $65 a month you get clothing worth $150+ and you get designer style clothes with a huge discount every month. Here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items to keep each month.

So here we go with the review:

The first item that I got in my bag was from Cohesive & Co and let me tell you these Chino Bono black pants are just the best. The quality on these fit the bill in design and comfort.  The light grey and blue dots give it a nice touch, whether on the front pocket, back pockets and even on the inside of the pants.  These are the type of pants that you can dress up or down and still look great. I do apologize but I wasn't able to find the retail value but from the quality I'm going to guess $125-$100. I would also check out their site due to they have a good collections of men's apparel.

The second item that I received was another Cohesive & Co, however this was from their Signature Collection. This Belmont Dark Blue style button down is super nice and fitted.  The lowered collar and lined front pocket gives this shirt a more defined style.  This is also another shirt that would look great dress up or with a nice part of jeans.  If you put both the Chino pants and this shirt together, you will be stopped a lot and told how great you look. It happens, I promise! The retail value I couldn't find either.  I would guess it would retail at $60 -80.

The third item was a bonus item by Hyden Yoo.  This color blocked tee is both casual and refined.  It's got a stretchy and heavy feeling to it, although it is very soft on your skin. This one is a dark grey with a light grey combo compared to the one on their site. The retail value on this shirt is $60. Check out Hyden Yoo on their website.

So to wrap up this review of the Trendy Butler Bag from July.  I have to say for the second time they have been on point.  This whole bag had a different style category from last month, however it was more dressed up and I can wear this more in different settings than last month.

Vestige was about creating a sleek minimal wallet that carries just the essentials. That they have done with the Vestige Wallet ($30). Credit, debit, ID, a few folded bills, and a house key. Of course some people may want to stuff a few extra cards in and Vestige will oblige.

Trendy Butler is a subscription based company and for $65 a month you get clothing worth $150+ and you get new stylish clothes with a huge discount every month.

Trendy Butler was nice enough to send me a free bag to review.  Seeing how I enjoy fashion I was looking forward to receiving this bag and check out what they had to offer.

If you’re not familiar with Trendy Butler, here’s how it works: You take a style quiz, and you get a box of 1-3 menswear items to keep each month.

So here we go with the review:

In my bag I received two items Civil Society MCBX-680 Gray Joggers and Stylo DNM Engineering TLS-007 Long Shirt. Both items came in a brown bag and was then wrapped nicely in a sleeve of brown paper.  Sorry would have pictures of this but got to excited and well no pictures of that.

So let's start off with the Civil Society MCBX-680 Joggers Gray. I have to say I'm a huge fan of joggers so I was excited to get another pair. They're also super comfortable and have the right enough tightness at the bottom to pull them up on the calves to give a short pant style look.  Retail value of these were $70.  You can check them out on Civil Society's website.

The second item in the bag was the Stylo DNM Engineering TLS-007 Long Shirt.  While this shirt has some slick style to it.  It is not in my style catalog of things I would wear.  I'm not saying the color or the upper style of the shirt, but the bottom of the shirt gets me.  I'm not a fan of the long oversized shirts and the zippers on the side are a little strange to me. I know it's becoming a style but it only works for those that are built or prefer loose fitting shirts at the bottom. This shirt retails at $60.00. You can check out Stylo's Clothing on their website

So to wrap up this review of the Trendy Butler Bag.  I have to say for the first try they did great.  The whole outfit was on point but my personal preference was off with the shirt. You can exchange an item without hassle if you're unhappy with one of your items. So in all I give them an A+ for a men's subscription company.
